The following specific provisions shall be met as minimum standards prior to the approval of any business engaging in “internet sweepstakes”:
(A) Days/hours of operation. Businesses engaging in electronic gaming operations activities may operate from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. each day, seven days per week.
(B) All applicable permits must be issued to the applicant prior to the issuance of the conditional use permit and the opening of business.
(C) If food or beverage is served, the establishment must meet the requirements of the Rowan County Health Department, including any and all necessary permits and/or licenses.
(D) The establishment must be a minimum of 1,000 feet from any building used as a dwelling and/or residentially-zoned property, church, public or private school. See division (F) below.
(E) The establishment must be a minium of 1,000 feet from any other organization engaged in an electronic gaming operations business. See division (F) below.
(F) Measurement of distance separation shall be measured on a straight line from property line to property line, with no consideration as to intervening structures, roads or land forms.
