§ 72.04 SPECIFIC LOCATIONS OF PROHIBITED PARKING.
   No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or when so directed by a police officer or traffic-control device, in any of the following places:
   (A)   On a sidewalk or on the space between the sidewalk and the curb;
   (B)   Within an intersection;
   (C)   On a crosswalk;
   (D)   Within 30 feet of any flashing beacon, stop sign or traffic-control signal located at the side of a street or roadway;
   (E)   Within 50 feet in any direction of the outer edge of a railroad underpass or overhead bridge;
   (F)   Within 50 feet of the closest rail on either side of any street leading to a grade crossing, provided that where existing permanent structures are located closer than 50 feet, parking may be permitted in front of the structures, unless otherwise prohibited, and if the parking does not block the view in either direction of the approach of a locomotive or train;
   (G)   Alongside or opposite any street excavation or obstruction, when stopping, standing or parking would obstruct traffic;
   (H)   Upon any bridge or other elevated structure or within any underpass structure;
   (I)   Within 15 feet in either direction of the driveway entrance to a hotel, theater, hospital, sanatorium or any public building;
   (J)   On the roadway side of any vehicle stopping, standing, or parking at the edge or curb of a street;
   (K)   Within 15 feet of any fire plug or hydrant;
   (L)   Within 12 feet of the point where the margin of any alley or driveway of a public business intersects any public street in the town.
   (M)   At those places specified on the official traffic maps and at which signs are placed which prohibit parking or when the curbing has been painted yellow in lieu of signs prohibiting parking.
   (N)   On an alley, right-of-way, or public thoroughfare that interferes, blocks, or creates a hazard for any passing vehicles, except for emergency vehicles, town vehicles, public works vehicles and equipment, public safety vehicles, volunteer firefighter personal vehicles, or the alike in the performance of their duties.
