(A) No person shall operate any truck or trailer for the transportation of property or persons on the streets or parts of streets designated on the official traffic maps, provided that trucks and trailers may travel on the parts of streets to reach or to return from a destination upon the streets.
(B) The Chief of Police shall cause to be erected and maintained, at all approaches to the parts of streets on which trucks are prohibited, signs of dimensions and at locations that shall be approved by the town, and directing that no trucks are allowed in accordance with the provisions of this section.
