When a public sewer system is not available, an application may be made for a permit to treat the waste in a private treatment system. The applicant shall prepare plans and specifications and submit them to the Plumbing Inspector for consideration. The system shall be designed in accordance with recommendations published by the State Department of Health and the plans shall show the location and design of the system and the location of all wells within 100 feet of the site.
