All licenses issued under this chapter shall expire on the last day of the twelfth month following the month of issue but may be renewed by filing request for renewal and payment of the annual license fee with the City Clerk. The City Clerk shall be authorized to renew any license originally issued under this chapter which has not been suspended or revoked.
