The following benchmark elevations are established.
(A) The U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey bronze benchmark in the northwest corner of the foundation of the U.S. Post Office building on the southwest corner of Block 26 of the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railway Addition to the city. The elevation is 56.06 feet. The elevation of this benchmark is 1,320.716 feet above sea level. To change city datum to sea level elevation, add 1,264.656 feet.
(B) The U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey bronze tablet set in concrete in the “Y” formed by the two walks leading from Grand Avenue to the City Electric Light Plant. The elevation is 51.14 feet. The elevation of this benchmark is 1,315.795 feet above sea level.
