§ 95.031 PURPOSE AND SCOPE.

(A) It is the purpose of this subchapter to adopt a complete excavation code, including provisions for the licensing of excavators, issuing permits, collecting fees, regulating and inspecting excavations, and providing penalties for violations of this subchapter.

(B) The provisions of this subchapter shall apply to and govern excavations within the corporate limits of the city.
