Collection of unusual solid waste from residences of such items as furniture, appliances, carpeting and other objects or materials which cannot be placed in customary solid waste containers will be accomplished by the city in a manner agreed to between the owner and the city. To make arrangements for the collection of such unusual waste, the owner shall phone or contact the city and arrange for the time and place of removal at least 24 hours in advance of the desired removal time. The city shall designate one day in each week upon which unusual waste shall normally be collected.
