(A) Administrative rules. Terms used in this chapter which are defined in Administrative Rules of the Iowa Environmental Protection Commission § 567-100.2 shall be defined as provided in that section, which is hereby adopted by reference.
(B) Terms adopted. Terms used in this chapter which are defined in Iowa Code § 455B.301 shall have the definitions provided in that section, which are hereby adopted by reference.
(C) Iowa Code. Terms used in this chapter which are defined in Iowa Code § 455B.411 shall be defined as provided in that section, which is hereby adopted by reference.
(D) Definitions. For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
OWNER. The record titleholder; any person residing in, renting, leasing, occupying, operating or transacting business in any premises; and, as between such parties, the duties, responsibilities, liabilities and obligations herein imposed shall be joint and several.
PERSON. Any individual, firm, partnership, domestic or foreign corporation, company, association, trust or other legal entity and includes a trustee, a receiver, assignee or representative thereof, but does not include a governmental body.
