§ 33.42 ALLOCATION OF REVENUES.
   (A)   The derived revenues of 28.6% from the tax imposed under this subchapter shall be allocated for the support and promotion of tourism and for activities and programs to attract visitors to the community, and to provide services and benefits to visitors and tourists.
   (B)   The City Clerk is authorized and directed to establish and maintain a tourism hotel/motel tax account, and to deposit in this account 28.6% of all revenues derived from the tax and to pay from this account such amounts as are from time to time specifically approved by the City Council.
