§ 114.36 APPLICABILITY OF CHAPTER TO EXISTING BUSINESSES.
   (A)   This subchapter is necessary to the immediate preservation of the public health and safety, to prevent the negative secondary effects of sexually-oriented businesses, and therefore shall become effective immediately upon passage.
   (B)   All sexually-oriented businesses lawfully-operating in all respects, and all sexually-oriented business employees working in a lawfully operating sexually-oriented business, on the effective date of this subchapter, are hereby granted a de facto temporary license to continue operation or employment without a license for a period of 30 days following the effective date of this subchapter. By the end of said 30 days, all sexually-oriented businesses and sexually-oriented business employees shall apply for a license under this subchapter. During said 30 days, all requirements of this subchapter, except for the requirement of obtaining a license, shall be in full force and effect.
