(A) The County Council, having hereby assessed the fiscal burden relating to modifying the monetary amount for mileage reimbursement for county officers and employees, has determined that said amount should be commensurate to the prevailing state mileage rate, currently set as $0.36 per mile.
(B) The County Council, acting as the fiscal body, hereby sets the county mileage rate to be equal to the rate of the state.
(C) As the state adjusts the mileage rate from time to time, the county’s mileage rate shall remain at the state’s rate, without amendment to this section.
