§ 70.01 REMOVAL OF VEHICLES FROM COUNTY ROADS DURING EMERGENCY.
   (A)   No person shall leave parked, stranded, or immobile vehicles on the traveled portion of any county roadway.
   (B)   During a state of emergency in the county, which has been declared by any authorized government official, the County Highway Department employees and the County Sheriff’s officers shall be empowered to do the following: Any authorized, on-duty County Highway Department employee or any County Police Officer who finds a vehicle stranded upon any county road in violation of this section shall be empowered to direct the person driving the vehicle to move the vehicle to a position off the paved, improved, or main traveled part of said county road.
   (C)   If the person so directed fails, refuses, or is unable to move the vehicle, or if the vehicle is unattended, the vehicle may be moved to the side of the road to clear the traveled portion of the roadway. Said vehicles shall be moved using the most expedient means readily available to minimize damage to the subject vehicle.
