Pursuant to I.C. 15-5-9-8(d), the Spencer County Humane Society, Inc., be, and hereby is, designated to receive $0.50 from each dog tax payment hereafter collected by the township assessor or township trustee, as the case may be, of each township of the county, and that said humane society shall use the funds disbursed to it to maintain an animal shelter.
