(A) The following is required for minor subdivisions plat approval:
(1) Application, fee and, for all properties where changes in the floodplain are proposed, written verification from FEMA that the letter of map change has been approved;
(2) Sketch plan approval by administrative official;
(3) Prepare final plat and submit Mylar, one full-size copy (to scale), one 11 by 17 copy and electronic format compatible with the city system. The electronic format requirement may be waived for any firm that does not have electronic drafting equipment;
(4) Public hearing by Planning Commission, with five days’ notice;
(5) Recommendation to the Common Council;
(6) Approval or disapproval by the Common Council; and
(7) Recording.
(B) The following is required for major subdivisions plat approval:
(1) Application, fee and, for all properties where changes in the floodplain are proposed, written verification from FEMA that the letter of map change has been approved;
(2) Sketch plan approval by administrative official;
(3) Prepare preliminary plat and submit seven copies;
(4) Public hearing by the Planning Commission, with five days’ notice;
(5) Recommendation to the Common Council;
(6) Approval or disapproval by the Common Council;
(7) Prepare final plat and submit Mylar, one full-size copy (to scale), one 11 by 17 copy and electronic format compatible with the city system. The electronic format requirement may be waived for any firm that does not have electronic drafting equipment;
(8) If no substantial changes, plat shall be forwarded by the administrative official to the Planning Commission Chair and Mayor for signatures, subject to requirements for bond, dedication and form; and
(9) Recording.
