If a property owner, agent or occupant creates, maintains or commits, or permits to be created, maintained or committed a nuisance by failing to remove snow or ice from the sidewalk, the designated city official will notify the property owner, agent or occupant by calling them or placing a door hanger on the property. If the snow or ice is not removed within 24 hours of the call or placement of the door hanger, the city may provide for the abatement of the nuisance in accordance with § 92.19.
