§ 31.002 DUTY GENERALLY; RECEIPT, DISTRIBUTION OF FUNDS.
   (A)   In furtherance of the objectives of this subchapter, the City Area Council on the Arts and Humanities is to initiate, sponsor and conduct public programs to further the development and awareness of and interest in the arts.
   (B)   The Common Council does hereby authorize the City Area Council on the Arts and Humanities to receive and distribute funds on behalf of the city.
