Before any license shall be issued under this subchapter, the applicant shall furnish a certificate of rabies vaccination issued by a veterinarian licensed to practice within this state evidencing vaccination of the dog or cat for which the license is desired has been vaccinated against rabies and that such vaccination will be good for the license year.
