§ 90.008 ANIMAL ATTACKS.
   (A)   Application. Any animal that has committed a severe or fatal attack upon any human being shall be permanently and securely confined or humanely euthanized after complying with §§ 90.075 through 90.080. This section will also apply to any severe or fatal attack on any animal while the offending animal is at large.
   (B)   Definitions. For the purpose of this section, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      SECURELY CONFINED. Confined in a locked pen or enclosure suitable to prevent the entry of young children and designed to prevent the animal from escaping. Such pen must have minimum dimensions of five feet by eight feet and must have secure sides and a secure top. The sides must be embedded into the ground no less than two feet if the floor is not concrete. The enclosure shall provide protection from the elements. Any time the animal is out of the pen it will be with a responsible adult and on a leash at all times.
      SEVERE INJURY. Any physical injury that results in broken bones or disfiguring lacerations requiring multiple sutures or cosmetic surgery.
   (C)   Violation. Failure to comply with these guidelines will result in the animal being impounded and euthanized.
