(A) Application. The provisions of this section shall apply to the parking facilities and parking spaces located within the boundaries of the Public Parking District for the area of the city zoned Central Core Commercial, as set out and defined by resolution of the Common Council, which is on file in the office of the Finance Officer and shall be in effect at all times or at those times specified in this section.

(B) Designation. Regulated parking spaces are those included within the boundaries of the following described area: the south side of Jackson Boulevard from Fifth Street to Seventh Street; the east side of Seventh Street from Jackson Boulevard to Hudson Street; the north side of Grant Street from Seventh Street to Main Street; and the west side of Fifth Street from Hudson Street to Jackson Boulevard. All parking areas, both physically on street and boulevard, contained within this area will be enforced.

(C) Markings. Lines shall be painted upon the street, designating each parking space and each vehicle shall park in such lines. It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle across any such line, or to park a vehicle in such a position that it will not be entirely within the space designated by such lines. Each block shall be clearly marked so as to indicate the legal parking limit therein.

(D) Unlawful parking. No person shall park any vehicle within the boundaries described in division (B) above for longer than two hours on any enforcement day as specified in division (E) below.

(E) Hours of operation. The hours of regulation of the Public Parking District pursuant to the provisions of this section shall be 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. of all weekdays (Monday through Friday), holidays excepted.

(F) Regulation of parking. Enforcement of parking violations within the Public Parking District shall be controlled by the Chief of Police.
