§ 71.130 ONE-WAY STREETS AND ALLEYS.
   (A)   Designation.
      (1)   Whenever any ordinance passed by the Common Council designates any one-way street or alley, the Public Works Administrator shall place and maintain signs giving notice thereof. The signs shall conform to the state uniform traffic-control devices and shall read “One-Way, Do Not Enter.”
      (2)   Such signs indicating the direction of lawful traffic movement shall be placed at every intersection where movement of traffic in the opposite direction is prohibited.

   (B)   Obedience. It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any vehicle in violation of the markings, signs, barriers or other devices placed in accordance with the provisions of this subchapter.
