After receiving the burial application, the city will stake and inspect the cemetery parcel. Double burials and stack burials will be allowed if prior arrangements have been made with the city. Temporary grave markers must be used by all mortuaries. The city is not responsible for any temporary markers and any temporary marker may be removed at the city’s discretion. Under normal circumstances, the city is not responsible for digging the graves.
