Sec. 14-182. Payment for cemetery parcel and perpetual care.
The common council shall determine, by resolution, all cemetery fees including the prices for which the cemetery parcels are to be sold. Upon payment in full for a cemetery parcel and perpetual care, the purchaser will receive a cemetery parcel deed and certificate of purchase for perpetual care executed by the mayor and attested by the finance officer under the seal of the city. No burials may be made upon a cemetery parcel for which the city has not received full payment. Upon receipt of full payment, a cemetery parcel deed will be issued. If there is an interment on a cemetery parcel for which full payment has not been made, the city reserves the right to disinter the remains and remove the burial, together with any monument or other structure thereon, to some other portion of the cemetery equal in price to the amount paid on such space, after the actual cost of removal has been deducted.
