Each residential unit or commercial unit within the city shall have a service line connected with the municipal water system in accordance with this section. Such service lines shall be of material meeting the specifications as set forth by the Water and Wastewater Utilities Superintendent and approved by the City Engineer, and of such size as to meet the minimum requirements of the State Plumbing Code, being ARSD 20:54, and the requirements set forth in the Standard Specifications for Installation and Repair of Water and Sewer Service Lines, as adopted by the city and as may be amended from time to time.
