7-1-1: STATE CRIMINAL CODE ADOPTED:
The Illinois Criminal Code, 720 Illinois Compiled Statutes, as passed, approved, and amended by the Illinois General Assembly, is hereby adopted by the Village. The provisions thereof shall be controlling within the corporate limits of the Village; provided, however, the penalties as provided by this Code shall apply (see section 1-4-1 of this Code).
