§ 50.02 WASTES, GARBAGE AND RUBBISH DISPOSAL.
   (A)   Definitions. For the purpose of this section, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      SANITARY LANDFILL. Any operation that is licensed by the state or its agencies as a sanitary landfill.
      TOWNSHIP. The Township of Sparta, Kent County, Michigan.

   (B)   Disposal of rubbish; licensed sanitary landfill. Any person, corporation, partnership or entity that shall originate, transport, receive or dispose of any rubbish, garbage or wastes of any kind including, but not limited to, empty cans, food containers, broken or whole bottles, crockery or utensils of any kind, automobile bodies or parts, old stoves, junk, parts of any machinery, litter, chemicals, offal, ashes, industrial by-products or wastes, clinkers or cinders that are placed, stored or disposed of ultimately within the township shall be responsible to make sure that any and all such wastes, garbage and rubbish is only placed or disposed of either temporarily or permanently in a licensed sanitary landfill.
