The Commission shall meet at least once every month at such time as determined by the Commission. Special meetings may be called by the Chairperson or any two members of the Commission. Notification of a special meeting of the Commission must be made to all members a minimum of 18 hours prior to the meeting. A quorum of five members shall be necessary to convene a regular or special meeting for conducting all business of the Commission. All meetings are open to the public and conducted in accordance with the state’s Open Meetings Act, being M.C.L.A. §§ 15.261 et seq., and notice of all meetings of the Commission or subcommittees shall be given as provided by state law.
