The following penalties are cumulative.
(A) Any person found to be violating any provisions of this chapter, including, but not limited to, a written order made pursuant to this chapter, except § 52.03 of this chapter, shall be served by the village with written notice, stating the nature of the violation. A time period for satisfactory correction of the violation will be stated. All violations shall permanently cease within the time period stated in the notice.
(B) Persons violating any provision of this chapter are responsible for a municipal civil infraction, punishable by a civil fine in the amount of $100, plus costs for each infraction. The fine for a first repeat offense is $250, plus costs. The fine for a second repeat offense or any subsequent repeat offense is $500, plus costs. Each day on which any violation continues constitutes a separate offense. Violations which are continuous with respect to time are a public nuisance and may be abated by injunctive or other equitable relief.
(C) Any person violating any provisions of this chapter shall become liable to the village for any expense, loss or damage caused to the village by reason of such violations.
(D) The village may file a complaint with a court of competent jurisdiction seeking injunctive relief from any violation of this chapter.
