§ 156.003 EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION.
   The provisions of this chapter shall apply within the corporate limits of the town. At the time that the Town Council members so decide, and with proper public notice, hearings and representation, the provisions of this chapter shall apply within the territory beyond the corporate limits as now or hereafter fixed, from geographic boundaries for a distance not to exceed one mile.
