§ 92.26 AWNINGS AND SIGNS OVER SIDEWALKS.
   No person shall erect, project or suspend over the sidewalks of the town, or any portion thereof, any sign, shed, awning or other structure, unless same shall be erected under the supervision of the Building Inspector and shall be securely fastened, and shall be not less than eight feet above the sidewalk, and which shall not extend over beyond the width of the sidewalk; provided, however, that, awnings of cloth or other similar material may be constructed and suspended over the sidewalk; provided, the same are not less than eight feet above sidewalks and are erected under the supervision and by permission of the Building Inspector.
