(A) Flammable fluids. Vehicles carrying flammable fluids may not park within the town limits and must follow the truck routes as may have been established, except vehicles with a maximum capacity of 1,800 gallons (separated in compartments holding no more than 600 gallons each) may park for purposes of loading and unloading only.
(B) Explosives.
(1) Transportation of explosives in passenger conveyances. No person shall transport or carry any explosives in any public conveyance which is carrying passengers for hire.
(2) Marking of vehicle carrying explosives. Every vehicle, while carrying explosives, shall have painted on its front, sides and back, in easily legible white letters at least six inches high, on a red background, the warning: "explosives-dangerous" in lieu thereof it shall display upon an erect pole, fastened to the front end of the vehicle and at a height that it is visible from all directions, a red flag with the word "danger" printed, stamped or sewn thereon in white letters. The flag shall be at least 18 inches by 30 inches in size and the letters thereon shall be at least six inches high.
(3) Drivers of vehicles carrying explosives. No person in charge of a vehicle containing explosives may smoke upon the vehicle, nor may he or she drive the vehicle while intoxicated or drive or load the vehicle in a careless or reckless manner.
(4) Certain articles not to be carried in vehicles carrying explosives. No person shall carry in the bed or body of any vehicle containing explosives, any metal tools or other pieces of metal, nor any exploders, detonators, blasting caps, matches or other similar explosive material.
