Damages that are clearly the result of negligence by the town or town employees, will be paid for by the town. Repairs for all other damages, including acts of nature or vandalism, will be done at the expense of the owners, their heirs or assigns. Cleaning of individual grave monuments, mausoleums or markers are also the responsibility of the owner, their heirs or assigns.
