(A) There is hereby created the City Emergency Management Agency (Agency) to prevent, minimize, repair and alleviate injury or damage resulting from disaster caused by enemy attack, sabotage or other hostile action or from natural or human-made disaster, in accordance with the state’s Emergency Services and Disaster Act of 1975 (i.e., as amended, 20 ILCS 3305/1 et seq.).
(B) The city’s Agency shall consist of the Coordinator and any additional members as may be selected by the Coordinator.
