(A) No person shall inter, bury or remove or re-inter a body in the city cemeteries without having first obtained a burial or removal permit as prescribed by and furnished by the state’s Department of Public Health and a permit to open a grave as prescribed by and furnished by the Board of Trustees of the city cemeteries.
(B) Removal permits from other states or jurisdictions must be presented to the local registrar for a burial permit before the burial or interment of a body is made in any city cemetery.
