(A) The administrative fee related to the administrative and processing cost associated with the investigation, arrest and detention of an offender, or the removal, impoundment, storage or release of vehicle by the city shall be $50 per vehicle.
(B) (1) The administrative fee imposed by the city shall be in addition to any fees charged for the towing and storage of an impounded vehicle.
(2) The administrative fee shall be waived by the city upon verified proof that the vehicle was stolen at the time of the impoundment.
