If any chapter, section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or part of this title is for any reason held invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such judgment shall not affect, impair or invalidate the remaining provisions of this title but shall be confined in its operation to the specific chapter, section, subsection, sentence, clause or part of this title held invalid, and shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion of this title in any other instance.
