9-1-3: BUILDING PERMIT FEES:
   A.   Permit Fee: The city council shall from time to time enact by resolution the fees to be paid for the application for a building permit based upon the valuation of the home.
   B.   Completion Fee: As adopted in the current fee schedule, all applications for building permits require a completion fee to ensure total project completion. This fee will be returned to the payer of the fee after receiving a satisfactory final inspection from the building inspector. If the building is of new construction, a certificate of occupancy will also be issued after receiving a satisfactory final inspection from the building inspector. (Ord. 08-01, 1-8-2008)
   C.   Forfeiture: In the event a permanent certificate of occupancy has not been issued or a final inspection has not been approved within two (2) years of the issuance of the building permit, the completion fee shall be forfeited to the city. Furthermore, any adjustment, moving, or tampering with the water meter shall result in forfeiture of the completion fee to the city. (Ord. 13-01, 1-8-2013)
