A. Detection; Time For Repair: A written notice signed by a public works employee and the homeowner will be submitted to the City office upon detection of any major water leak. The leak will be repaired within a reasonable time as determined by the Public Works Department, not to exceed fifteen (15) days.
B. Adjustment Of Overage Amount: By compliance of the property owner, the city council reserves the right to adjust the overage amount due as they deem fair. However, if the water leak is not repaired within the allotted time frame, the entire amount will become due on the date stated on the water bill. (Res. 95-005, 2-14-1995)
