3-5-1: PURPOSE:
The purpose of this Chapter is to levy a one percent (1%) sales and use tax in compliance with the provisions of the Uniform Local Sales and Use Tax Law, Utah Code Annotated, as amended. (1989 Code § 6-101; amd. 1998 Code)
