1462.01 CONDITIONS FOR DEMOLITION; REPAIR.
   Any building or portion thereof, including buildings and/or structures in the process of erection, if found to be dangerous to any person or property, whether such persons are occupants therein or the general public, or found to be unsafe for the purpose for which it is being used, or in danger of fire due to a defect in construction, or dangerous for use because of insufficient means of egress in case of fire, or which has become damaged by the elements or fire to an extent of fifty percent of its value, may be condemned by the Building Inspector and ordered demolished or repaired according to the need, by Council, upon the preparation of a resolution to that effect and compliance therewith, for placement upon the tax duplicate for the collection of costs expended therefor in the same manner as other taxes are collected.
