(a) Applications for an appeal of decisions rendered by the Building Inspector shall be made to the Board of Building Code Appeals, together with the payment of a deposit of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00). Such deposit shall be for the purpose of paying the actual costs for the administration of filing and processing appeals as well as any fees for the Village's Solicitor and/or Engineer or other experts retained by the Village for such appeal. At the completion of the appeal, any amounts of such deposit not utilized in the cost of filing and processing the appeal shall be returned to the appellant. The appellant shall be responsible to reimburse the Village in the event such fees exceed the deposit.
(b) Applications may be made in the form of a letter addressed to the Board and shall contain all facts relevant to the decision rendered by the Inspector.
(c) After proper application, the Board shall meet within thirty days following the receipt of an application by an appellant.
