1444.11 INSPECTION OF HEATING APPARATUS, CHIMNEYS, ETC.; ORDERS TO CORRECT.
   When, in the opinion of the Building Inspector, heating apparatus, illuminating chimneys, flues or pipes, in any building or premises, are dangerous or likely to cause or promote fires or explosions, he shall enter such building or premises and examine the same. Upon finding any of the things enumerated herein to be defective, in a dangerous condition or constructed in violation of any of the provisions of this Building and Housing Code, he shall cause to be delivered to the owner, lessee or occupant, written instructions to remove or remedy the same in such a manner and within such reasonable time as may be necessary.
