No person shall erect, construct, alter, repair or maintain a residential building, office, mercantile building, workshop or factory, including a public or private garage or other structure, unless all applicable Village ordinances and regulations have been fully complied with. If a building or structure is being erected, constructed, altered, repaired or maintained in violation of any such ordinance or regulation, or there is an imminent threat of violation, the Village, in addition to any other remedies provided by law, may institute a suit for an injunction to prevent or terminate such violation.
