Any news medium organization desiring to be given advance notification of special meetings shall file with the Fiscal Officer a written request therefor, giving pertinent information as to the method of notification. Requesting media shall be notified twenty-four hours prior to special meetings, either in writing or orally by the Fiscal Officer. In the event of an emergency requiring immediate official action, a special meeting may be held without giving twenty-four hours notice to the requesting media. However, the member or members of the Municipal body calling the emergency meeting, or the Fiscal Officer, shall immediately give oral or written notification of the time, place and purpose of such emergency special meeting to the requesting media.
