The Superintendent of Water and Sewer shall be subject to the supervision of the Committee(s) on Water and Sewer. He or she shall be appointed by the Mayor, by and with the consent of the Village Board and shall hold his or her office until his or her successor shall be appointed and qualified. He or she shall receive such salary as may be provided by the annual appropriation ordinance of the village.
