Promptly upon receipt of a complaint of violation of this policy, the immediate supervisor will conduct an investigation regarding the allegations of the complaint, including consultation with the complaining party, with the party accused of the misconduct or harassment, and with any witnesses to the conduct complained of. Such additional investigation as deemed appropriate by the immediate supervisor may be undertaken, including consultation with appropriate law enforcement authorities. If the immediate supervisor is the subject of the complaint, the President of the Board of Trustees or his or her designee will investigate the complaint.
