Harassment or discrimination in any form, including, but not limited to, sexual harassment and sexual misconduct, as defined herein, are prohibited in connection with all activities of the village. This prohibition applies to all persons affiliated with the village in any capacity, including persons occupying a voluntary or uncompensated position and persons doing business with the village. Such conduct is illegal under the Illinois Human Rights Act and corresponding federal laws and regulations. All persons have a right to work in an environment free from sexual harassment. All persons subject to this policy are prohibited from sexually harassing any person, regardless of any employment relationship or lack thereof.
