(A) No person shall be allowed to carry firearms:
(1) Within 25 feet of any building, park, or recreational facility owned or occupied by the village;
(2) Into the police department without the consent of the chief law enforcement officer in charge of that police department; and
(3) Into any meeting of the governing body of a unit of the village.
(B) Nothing in this section shall preclude those employed by the village or called upon by the village for assistance as police officers or patrol officers or any law enforcement officer authorized by state or federal law from carrying firearms anywhere in the village.
