The fees for building permits, including electrical permits, shall be as set forth in this section. Building permits issued under this section shall be valid for a period of six months from the date of issuance. If the work authorized by the permit is not commenced within six months from the date of issuance or is not completed within the same period, the permit shall expire and become null and void. A new permit application and payment of fees shall be required for any work to be recommenced or completed.
(A) Permit fees shall be as follows:

(B) The fees for electrical permits shall read as follows:
(1) A $75 permit shall be required prior to any upgrade of service or change of service made to any existing installation of electrical wiring or equipment.
(2) A $75 permit shall be required prior to any upgrade of service and re-wiring to any existing installation of electrical equipment.

(D) A $25 non-refundable building permit application fee will be charged to all applicants upon initiating a building permit application. If the permit is granted, the application fee will be applied to the total building permit fee.
