§ 32.15  APPOINTMENT AND DUTIES OF VILLAGE POLICE CHIEF.
   (A)   The Village Police Chief shall be a conservator of the peace within the corporate limits of the village; shall enforce or cause to be enforced all ordinances of the village and all laws of the state.
   (B)   It shall be the duty of the Village Police Chief to attend all meetings of the Board of Trustees of the village, to serve all notices in writing when so ordered by the Village Board, and to perform all such other duties as shall be prescribed by ordinances of said village or by any resolution or order adopted by the Board of Trustees in said village from time to time. He or she shall be the supervisor and administrator of the Police Department, its men and women, and its files.
   (C)   The Village Police Chief shall possess the power and authority of a Police Chief pursuant to the statutes of the state within the corporate limits of the village.
